FG develops first national policy on patient safety

The Federal Government of Nigeria has developed the first National Policy and Implementation Strategy on Patient Safety and Healthcare Quality. The policy was launched on September 18, 2023 by the Minister of Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire.
The policy is designed to improve the safety of all medical procedures and to enhance the quality of healthcare delivery in Nigeria.
